Since 1983, MHC has represented Maryland's diverse
equestrian community as the horse industry's trade association. We protect
and promote the equine industry to the Maryland government and the general
public through media and our members.

Here
are the proposed changes in the MHC
By-laws. These changes would
create two new membership categories: not-for-profit rescues and
not-for-profit therapeutic and riding for the disabled stables. Each
of these new categories will have discounted membership fees, and will
be entitled to vote for their own directors-at-large. These proposed
changes will be discussed and voted on at the August 17 Quarterly
Board Meeting.
